TAA is a Re-certified B Corporation!

You may already know that The Abbi Agency has been a proud Certified B Corporation since way back in 2022; today, we have some exciting news for us and anyone else who believes in the B Corp mission. Drum roll please… 

TAA is officially a Re-certified B Corporation! That raucous noise you just heard was the crowd going wild, and also the (biodegradeable) confetti canons.

All B Corps have to undergo the re-certification process every 3 years to make sure we’re still walking the walk when it comes to using our businesses as a force for good. The process is a rigorous assessment of our social and environmental impact, transparency and accountability by the official B Lab. The cool thing is that B Lab’s standards are always changing and getting better, staying adaptable to new ideas, science and input from experts across the globe.

COMMUNITY

One thing about us— we love rolling up our sleeves and giving back to our communities! In 2023, we organized park clean-ups and canned food drives, donated 3% of our overall revenue to charitable organizations and volunteered over 300 hours with local groups, including:

THE ENVIRONMENT

TAA believes in planet over profit, always. We continued to make eco-friendly moves throughout 2023, including: sponsoring a clean-up robot for Lake Tahoe, celebrating Energy Efficiency Month across the agency, and rewarding team members who carpool to work! These small steps help us leave a lighter footprint, and also prove that sustainability is always in style.

OUR WORKERS

Our team is at the heart of our hive, and we strive every day to prioritize their health and well-being (not to brag, but that’s why we were voted a 2024 Nevada Top Workplace by the Las Vegas Business Press!). In 2023, we celebrated World Mental Health Day by sharing important resources for keeping our brains happy and healthy. We also donated to and actively slayed at Northern Nevada Pride, and continued to create internal materials that keep B Corp values top of mind for our team. 

OUR CUSTOMERS

Building purposeful partnerships with our clients is a vital part of our mission to make the world a better place. We love having the chance to show off our non-profit partners on our social channels— putting them out there for the world to see enhances their visibility, aligns our brands and bolsters our valuable relationships in the community!

We also developed a B Corp Gift Guide, which only includes products from B Corps across the world. Check it out and treat someone you love (or yourself, we don’t judge) to a gift that keeps on giving for a long time.

Finally, we took “giving season” to the next level by matching donations on behalf of our clients to charities that are close to our beating heart: Wild Montana, Northern Nevada Food Bank and Nevada Childhood Cancer Organization.


So, what’s next for us? Let’s just say that slowing our roll isn’t on the agenda. Re-certification is just the beginning (again), and we’re doubling down on our commitment to continuous improvement. Whether we’re finding new ways to reduce our environmental footprint, deepening our community partnerships or supporting our team in meaningful ways, here’s to a brighter, bolder and better tomorrow!
