Business Development Manager


The Abbi Agency is seeking an integrated marketing communications professional to coordinate the agency’s business development efforts. The candidate will work with all inbound leads to assess the clients goals, business objectives and needs. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating with executive staff to develop a strategy for the client and maintaining communication and a positive relationship with the potential client throughout the process.


The Client Strategy Manager remains involved with the account through onboarding with the internal team to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge.


You’ll work across agency departments to spearhead an integrated marketing approach to all efforts, so you will need knowledge of industry and national public relations, digital marketing, creative and content development, and overall integrated campaigns.


An ideal candidate must have experience—whether in-house or agency—working across departments to collaborate on integrated marketing strategies. This candidate needs to have an understanding of how creative, digital, content and public relations intersect together to reach client goals.


You will also have the opportunity to create and implement outbound sales missions to grow target services and industries for the agency.


Candidates must have project management experience, superior writing and editing skills, be able to use database systems for tracking efforts, be client-facing and be extremely organized with internal and external communications.

Requirements for position:

  • 3-7 years of agency experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
