We are looking for paid media interns! Below is the super official position description:

SUMMARY:

This internship is a semester-long position within the paid media department. The Paid Media Marketing Intern will play a vital role in assisting with the development and execution of paid media campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and TikTok Ads. They will contribute to audience research, campaign optimization, and the creation of engaging ad creative. The intern will also monitor campaign performance, provide data-driven insights, and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with overall objectives. Additionally, they will assist in setting up conversion tracking and stay up to date with industry trends to contribute innovative ideas. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in digital advertising while working alongside professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. The Abbi Agency will fulfill the real-world experience and education you’ve been craving.

We’re serious about providing our interns with an experience that prepares and develops you as a professional. In fact, we’ve even created a series of educational sessions called The Abbi Academy that introduces you to the fundamentals of agency work.

While we do not offer hourly compensation for our internship program, we do give our interns a stipend of $850 at the end of the internship. This stipend is awarded for interns who complete the program entirely (per listed session dates). 

DESCRIPTION:

The Paid Media Intern will help lay the groundwork for client success. You may be asked to:

  • Assist in the development and execution of paid media campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, or other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify target audiences, keywords, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Assist in the creation and optimization of ad creative.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Compile findings into a client-facing report with qualitative and quantitative analysis. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure paid media efforts align with overall marketing objectives and strategies.
  • Assist in the setup and management of conversion tracking and reporting systems including conversion tracking tags and reporting dashboards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and traffic creative assets.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to contribute fresh ideas and insights.

THE ABBI ACADEMY: 

All Abbi Agency Interns receive access to ten Abbi Academy sessions. These sessions provide both training and a look into the day-to-day work of each manager within an integrated agency. All interns are provided clear-cut takeaways that are applicable to students now and in a multitude of future job roles.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Junior or Senior standing as of Spring 2025 in, Marketing, Advertising, or related program.
  • Previous completion of one internship (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or TikTok Ads is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the Google suite (Sheets, slides, etc.).
  • Passion for marketing and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
