Social Media Specialist
Location: Hybrid/Remote (must be located in Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada)
Salary Range: $50,000 – $58,000
JOB SUMMARY
A Social Media Specialist at The Abbi Agency is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across all social media platforms. This role is pivotal in enhancing brand engagement and driving social media initiatives that align with broader marketing strategies. The specialist will work under the guidance of the Social Media Manager and Director of Marketing to contribute to the growth and success of our client’s digital presence by producing high-quality content that resonates with targeted audiences. This is a hybrid/remote role, but applicants must be located in the Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada markets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement content calendars and plans that align with the agency’s and/or the client’s marketing strategies and campaign goals.
- Create engaging and creative content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media trends and tools for changes that affect our competitive landscape.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content and gain valuable insights and strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with creative designers and production companies to generate digital visuals and video content for the brands.
- Engage with followers and respond to queries promptly to foster a positive community and add value to the user experience.
- Ensure social media content is published by the deadline and adheres to the brand’s voice and tone.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and strategies to drive engagement.
- Client communications and account management: Prompt and daily communications and interactions with clients.
SHORT-FORM RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social platform management with SproutSocial and Hootsuite third-party integrated platforms.
- Reporting and Analytics: Ability to read and pull analytics as needed and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to clients.
- Research: Research of trends, tools, and campaigns through social and online media.
- Planning: Planning for social media contests and campaigns, as well as ongoing social content strategy.
- Campaign development: Creation and implementation of plans to integrate client campaigns across social media channels.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Between two to three years of experience working in social media.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms in a professional capacity at an agency or higher
- Strong communication, presentation, copywriting, and content creation skills.
- Strong ability to adapt and be agile with projects.
- Ability to analyze and interpret metrics related to social media engagement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Located in Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience with social media management tools such as SproutSocial or Hootsuite.
- Graphic design skills and proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in video editing software, including CapCut and Adobe Premiere.
- Experience in content marketing and online community building.
- Ability to use a high-end production-level camera, such as Sony, Nikon, Canon, etc.
- Ability to work in a feedback-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
