The Abbi Agency Celebrates Eight Awards from PRSA

While organizations around the world reeled from the effects of the events of 2020, The Abbi Agency delivered thoughtful and effective communication plans for its clients. The Abbi Agency is proud to announce our eight wins at the 2021 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Sierra Nevada Chapter’s Silver Spike Awards.

A particular achievement near and dear to The Abbi Agency team pertained to the tourism industry as they encouraged travellers to safely visit their locales. The Abbi Agency took on a responsible travel campaign for North Lake Tahoe focused on providing potential travelers from North Lake Tahoe’s drive and flight markets with concise information about the region’s health and safety procedures and expectations in the wake of the pandemic. This campaign was also aimed at ensuring locals that North Lake Tahoe was taking steps to manage visitor demand and keep the community safe. The Abbi Agency is proud to announce that this Community Relations campaign won a Silver Spike at the award’s ceremony. 

“Like many marketing agencies, our team felt the highs and lows of a pandemic year. But through it all, we remained steadfast in our commitment to provide innovative marketing solutions to help our clients through these troubling times,” said Ashley Brune, vice president of public relations for The Abbi Agency. “At the end of the day, the best reward was celebrating our accomplishments together after over a year working apart.” 

The Silver Spike Awards are sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), recognizing the most creative and successful integrated marketing communications campaigns by the best and brightest professionals in Northern Nevada. This year, The Abbi Agency gathered in person, breaking the constraints of virtual office life to celebrate their achievements over some great food and camaraderie among colleagues.
