JOB SUMMARY
The Paid Media Specialist at The Abbi Agency is a key executional role within the Paid Media team, responsible for ensuring the seamless setup, monitoring, and performance reporting of digital campaigns across platforms. This tactical position supports client success by maintaining accurate budget pacing, launching campaigns on time and without error, and delivering clear, actionable reports. The Paid Media Specialist works closely with Senior Strategists and the Director of Performance Marketing to translate strategy into results, while identifying optimizations that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own day-to-day budget pacing and spend tracking across campaigns and platforms
- Ensure campaign launches are executed on time, correctly tagged, and aligned with approved media plans
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc performance reports with clear metrics, trends, and insights
- Troubleshoot campaign issues such as delivery discrepancies, pixel misfires, or data lags
- Maintain naming conventions, QA checklists, and platform best practices across all builds
- Collaborate with strategists to flag underperformance, recommend optimizations, and prepare reports for clients
- Work in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn, StackAdapt, and others
- Contribute to internal documentation, process improvements, and quality control
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in digital media buying, planning, or campaign management
- Proficiency in campaign builds and tracking in major ad platforms
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with Looker Studio and Supermetrics a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfort working across multiple campaigns, clients, and deadlines simultaneously
- Familiarity with paid social, programmatic, and search campaigns; traditional media a bonus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with conversion tracking, UTMs, and basic pixel/tag management
- Understanding of how different media channels contribute to the funnel
- Previous agency experience is a plus but not required
