Media Strategist


The Media Strategist position is a mid-level position within the Paid Media team. This position works closely with other team members to drive digital and traditional advertising campaign success. This position reports to the Director of Performance Marketing. This position is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and a passion for continuous testing and optimization.


  • Work with the Director of Performace Marketing to identify appropriate goal events, conversions, KPI’s, target segments & audiences, and creative requirements for successful campaigns.
  • Develop paid media strategies, plans and presentations for a variety of clients.
  • Additional experience is preferred in media, marketing, or advertising, with a notable portion of that time working with traditional media. 
  • Understand the competitive landscape and audience research to stay relevant in customer searches.
  • Use the media plan and strategy as a framework to create, deploy, manage and optimize campaigns across search, display and social networks.
  • Maintain targets, projection models, and goals to accurately forecast and accomplish our objectives.
  • Achieve above platform and industry benchmark median performance for campaigns.
  • Complete audit, research and campaign prep tasks such as:
    • Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
    • Setting up tracking tags and conversion pixels
    • Collaborating with creative design teams for ad development
    • Segmenting target audiences and creating audience personas
    • Developing a media plan with objectives, budgets, and timelines
    • Testing and optimizing ad elements, including A/B testing
    • Verifying tracking accuracy and adhering to compliance guidelines
    • Coordinating with client services and aligning with brand guidelines
  • Provide Director of Performance Marketing with ongoing status updates of campaign performance, highlighting opportunities for current and future improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide proactive recommendations for testing or expansion.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance reports, providing meaningful and actionable insight and impacts on strategy to clients as well as dashboard building and interpretation.
  • Work closely with Digital Experience and Content team to integrate and amplify SEO strategies and conversion tracking. 
  • Work closely with many other agency departments such as creative design, public relations, digital content, digital experience and client services to generate significant stakeholder value for all involved.
  • Leverage project management software to effectively manage workload, natively realizing your current priorities and the time management they require.


  • At least 3 years of experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns
  • Analytical and creative skills
  • Prior experience managing both algorithmic and manual bidding strategies
  • Passionate understanding of paid search with proven analytical ability to apply learnings
  • Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
  • Prior SEM, Display, Streaming, and/or Paid Social campaign management experience
  • Manage your own daily priorities and responsibilities to meet deadlines, and company priorities and perform duties independently throughout the day.
  • Google Ads Search certification
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and be a creative problem solver 
  • Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing data within GA4 to derive valuable insights and inform campaign strategies
  • Established track record of consistent and valuable relationship building 


  • Located in the Las Vegas Market 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or other appropriately related field
  • Experience with CRM and Direct Marketing programs, specifically HubSpot 
  • Familiarity with Excel-Solver and Data Analysis plugins
  • Prior experience with Supermetrics reporting platform
