Creative Corner: The Abbi Agency Brings Home Addys Gold

We are proud to announce that our firm brought home five Addy awards for our creative department’s work with a range of clients.

The event, held by the Reno branch of the American Advertising Federation, took place on March 10 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. We took home Gold Addy awards for our work on logo designs for local companies Greenleaf (a family-owned and vertically integrated cannabis company) and Terra Vigna (an international wine club).

Our team also took home Silver Addy awards for our advertising creative for Fly Reno-Tahoe; for our video campaign on behalf of Renown Health, the Desert Research Institute and 23andMe; and for the branding the we developed on behalf of “Healthy Young NV,” a health awareness campaign aimed at Nevada youth.

The Abbi Agency’s considerable showing at the 2017 Addy Awards demonstrates marked growth in the firm’s versatile creative department, and is a testament to the firm’s commitment to offering a range of high-quality, integrated services in-house.

David Bunker, The Abbi Agency’s director of creative content, leads strategy, content and concepting for the growing creative team. He is joined by Thaison Kawal, the firm’s art director, who leads the design direction and branding efforts within the team. Connor Goicoechea, the team’s primary graphic designer, adds both strong logo design skills and layout ability to the team. He was recently honored as the winner of Command-N, a graphic design competition held in Reno, Nev.

“The Abbi Agency’s creative team has grown tremendously in capabilities, quality and experience over the last two years. Since its inception, our creative team has approached the creative process in a unique way — focusing above all on the story. Our branding, ad creative and video projects are all rooted in the story that connects a company or organization with its audience,” Bunker said.
