Facebook Timeline cover photos gave us our first taste of social networking profiles for companies that could visually represent the brand but, more importantly, the personality of a business. Spicing up profiles on most other networks was left to creative descriptions and creative content. Twitter just changed that.

RSVP: s’il vous plaît

Let me just preface this by saying I love technology. I am always trying to stay up on the latest trends in the tech world. But, I’ve noticed with the growing options technology provides for us, we tend to get lazy and, frankly, sloppy with the way we treat people electronically. In this day and age, where Facebook event “attendings” constitute as guest lists and group texting is the preferred  means of communication, a formal invitation can seem rather out of date.

Redesign your Facebook page for the new timeline look

So, leave it to me to write a blog post that becomes obsolete literally DAYS after I post it. Last week Facebook announced to all the current Facebook pages that they would be making the switch over to the timeline look on Mar. 30 whether they like it or not. But we like it, so we’re in the process of making the switch for all of our client pages.
